We are a modern production company specializing in the reproduction of retro kits that have faded out of the hobby. We hope to help promote the R/C airplane hobby, and to keep the art of building alive and well. Because, it just holds more meaning when you build it yourself.

Our Story
Having been introduced to the C/L hobby by my father, and progressing into the R/C hobby, building planes has always been an important part of both. As the kits began to disappear from production, so did a huge part of the hobby. The Craftmanship. I felt a need to find a way to keep this alive. Reproduction of some of the hobby's best/favorite kits seemed like a good idea. Being able to share them with others seemed like a great way to keep the building aspect alive. And so, Planes Gone By LLC was born.
Delivery & Shipping Costs
You can choose your delivery option at checkout. We use USPS, UPS or FedEx. Shipping cost will be automatically figured at checkout and added to your purchase. As the program figures shipping on a "per item" basis, shipping cost on multiple items will be refigured during order processing and the appropriate amount, if any, will be refunded. Also, international shipping rates have been quoting high as of late. Please send an email inquiry for pricing, as we have been able to find lower rates through outside sources.
